Hoea ea is food sust - 'aina - bility. E komo mai to this retreat for youth and 'ohana of all ages.
This 5-day, 4-night camp-out is a working Hawaiian cultural event aimed at activating our kuleana to produce our own food. Activities will include pig culture from slaughter to sausage; imu; fishpond restoration; net-throwing; gardening arts; and lots of cooking and eating food. Come ready to work, grow, learn, and share.
Please bring food from your 'aina or kai to contribute to the table. Registration forms available at <hoeaea.com>. Groups of youth must be accompanied by adult chaperones; please bring one responsible adult per four youth or children.For more information see Hoea Ea .
