Mornings are a great time to enjoy the flutter and BUZZ of our local pollinators. Come learn about our naturalized butterflies and bees and their role in our ecosystem and food production. Fundraiser pancake, local fruit and egg/tofu breakfast will benefit One Island’s summer youth programs and the Same Canoe Community Garden Project. 8am-noon on an organic farm with a terrace for al fresco dining right beside the butterflies. Farm and garden tours will be offered on site.

Same Canoe Community Gardens Project Begins!

The Same Canoe Community Gardens Project is providing training and mini-grants that promote:
- Community Food Gardens
- Wildlife Habitat Gardens
- Native Reforestation Projects
- Non-profit and School grants for engagement with the community to increase local food access and wellbeing
- Neighborhood-level mini-grants for small scale demonstration gardens
