Ka'u Garden Talk Story & Seed Exchange (Ka'u)

Seed exchange offerings include seeds of many different types of vegetables, taro, sweet potatoes, seed potatoes (whites, yellows, reds, purples!), an assortments of foliage cuttings and plants, plus lots of things unknown that will be brought by other attendeees. Last exchange in August had a hugh assortment of new items! Bring items for the exchange or make a small donation to the building fund which is building a pavillion on the grounds that will be able to be used for future gardening events. The building now has a roof, so we will stay dry even if it rains!

Talk story starts a 1 pm. The president of the master gardeners will be on hand to answer questions about pests, especially fruit flies.bring pests and plant damage samples in sealed ziplock bags for identification. Fruit fly traps plus lure will be available for gardeners who need them. Handouts will now be available, and lecture highlights will be posted on Kauweb.com (forums : garden talk story)
