About me

My husband and I are moving to Hilo in January. We currently have an offer on a small farm north of Hilo. If it goes through I will be in charge of the farm. I have very little experience farming and am very interested in learning the best ways to farm that have the smallest impact on the land. I am also very interested in using this land to become as self sustainable as possible. I have always been interested in feeding my family local, organic, sustainably produced food. From what I have read, this is a passion on the Big Island as well. I am excited I have the opportunity to learn so much from this community and I anxious to find ways to give back.
